Orders
The Orders page shows every delivery and takeaway order Aloo has taken, plus any you create manually. Rich filters, and a details popup for every order.
#Order status
Every order moves through the same four steps from the moment it's placed:
Aloo sets a new order to Pending automatically. After that, staff have to move the order through Confirmed, Preparing, and Completed manually from the details popup.
Keeping the status up to date matters if you want the AI to give customers accurate information when they call back to ask about their order. If you don't want to keep the status updated, you can still answer customers directly by replying to the Aloo agent on WhatsApp.
Orders don't sync to your POS
An order can be cancelled at any point before it is marked completed.
#Filtering and search
The filter bar at the top of the page lets you narrow the list by:
- Search by order number, customer name, or phone.
- Order type: delivery, takeaway, or all.
- Status: any combination of pending, confirmed, preparing, completed, cancelled.
- Date and time range. Defaults to today. Pick any window you need.
In table view, click any column header to sort by it. Orders default to newest first.
