Deal stacking & rules
Sometimes a customer qualifies for more than one deal at the same time. These settings tell Aloo what to do. Find them on the Stacking tab inside the deals popup on the Menu page.
#If a combo and a Spend & Save both qualify
Pick one:
Pick the bigger one
Only one deal applies. Whichever saves the customer more.
Apply both
The customer gets the combo price AND the Spend & Save reward.
If you picked Pick the bigger one, choose how the winner is decided:
Automatic
Aloo picks whichever deal saves more money.
You pick the priority
Combos first, or Spend & Save first. If the preferred one doesn't qualify, the other applies.
#Can item discounts apply on top?
One switch. When a combo or Spend & Save is active, do item sale prices still apply?
Yes
Item sale prices still apply alongside the combo or Spend & Save reward.
No
Item sale prices are ignored whenever a combo or Spend & Save is active.
#Which total counts for Spend & Save?
Only appears if item discounts can stack. When Aloo checks if the cart hit the Spend & Save threshold, which price should it add up?
Full prices
Add up the regular menu prices. Easier to hit the threshold.
Discounted prices
Add up what the customer actually pays after item discounts. Harder to hit the threshold.
